Welcome

We are pleased to announce GWN 2026 – the Grenoble Workshop on NanoMagnetism, taking place from June 23rd to 26th, 2026, at the CNRS Institut Néel, one of Europe’s leading research institutes in magnetism and solid-state physics.

This international workshop focuses on cutting-edge research in nanomagnetism: spintronics, magneto-optics and magnonics, designed for PhD students and early-career researchers* from across Europe. Special attention is given to encouraging participation from Widening Countries* in line with broadening scientific inclusion.

SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM

The scientific program will feature keynote talks by internationally recognized experts, each introducing one of the workshop’s core thematic areas—followed by a selection of an oral presentations from the participating students. Submission of a poster/ oral presentation abstract is a mandatory part of the application. Dedicated poster sessions will be held to foster ongoing scientific discussion and networking. A poster prize will be awarded for the best contribution.
